I came across an article on cnn.com today that described the Spa culture in Baden-Baden, Germany. I found it very interesting and inviting. I know, you will raise your eyebrows. Even I raised mine once. But after reading the writer's experience, I found it quite inviting.
We have seen Baden-Baden in Hindi movies. I also remember one episode of "Everybody loves Raymond", when Ray's in-laws are traveling to Baden-Baden. This article seems to confer Baden-Baden the "Spa Capital" of the world.
I have been seeing pictures of "1000 places to see before you die" on a desk calendar. There's even a book on this subject. A friend has blogged about things to do before dying. So, I thought, why not start a Travel Wish list for myself. The list is a long one. This is just the start !!!

Sandybhoy,
Interesting and weird experience indeed. The whole experience is pretty alien to a person like me who is still grappling with the idea of sharing locker room of the swimming pool with the fellow naked men. I do understand that there are obvious differences in our culture with theirs. But have never understood what is so liberating to a person with no underwear besides me taking shower over me with a swimming trunk.
Seems like a pretty exotic experience for the visitors and I’m sure the different massaging techniques must be quite a relaxing experience. I still feel though that I could have equal fun enjoying the massaging and other techniques with a 4 inch cover around my waist. :o))
Thanks for sharing this link though; it definitely opens up newer possibilities to oneself reading such experiences which usually one would not pay attention to.
Very interesting. I was totally with the author all the way.
You have provided a great idea - I've had a list of places to visit in my mind, now I'll create this wish list and post it somewhere. Lets see what can be made possible..
